New Yorker Caption Contest Submission

11/16/2014

Here is my submission for the New Yorker Caption Contest for the week of October 8, 2014. My submission for that week was the following: Does it smell like gasoline in here to you right now?

I think that it’s really hard to be funny. What makes this really hard is that the pictures can make it hard to figure out what the joke is supposed to be sometimes. I think that it’s hard to be funny if you’ve never really had a funny personality before. If you don’t have the personality for it now, it can be challenging to develop it later in life. This is why I think that its hard to be funny.
